A leader of an action group can be famous and possibly overthrow the president of the country that is Ramón Grau San Martin, a corrupt former university professor. Gomez is the leader of a group and knows that Cubans are exhausted and angry about political corruption. Gómez is ambitious and charismatic. For that, he has to die. Fidel Castro is jealous and furious that another person can possibly be more famous than him. Tonight, Leonel Gómez meets with his followers clandestinely in the sports stadium of the university on Rionda Street. They plan a demonstration against Grau San Martin. Gómez is leaving when he leaves the stadium with a friend who is riding a bicycle, Gómez is cautious and suspicious but does not see Fidel behind a stone wall with his anxious follower Alfredo "el Chino" Esquivel or Fidel's pistol.
